YouTube rolls out its redesigned video player globally

YouTube redesigned its video player, which has made the icons and UI elements less cluttered. This new player design will appear on mobile, web, and TV devices. You'll also see a new threaded approach to replies, among other updates.
X plans to show more information about user profiles to help improve trust

Google introduces new ‘Sponsored results’ ad label

Google will now group text ads with a single “Sponsored results” label. It is rolling out globally on desktop and mobile and applies to other ad types, such as shopping ads. They’re also adding a new “Hide sponsored results” that allows you to collapse text ads with a single click.

Google Merchant Center Now Supports Physical Goods Subscriptions

Google has updated its Google Merchant Center policies to now allow for the sale of physical goods subscriptions. Google said this "will be available to all eligible Shopping ad merchants in the United States." For merchants to use this, they need to update their product feed with the subscription cost attribute and its associated sub-attributes.
